When Caitlin and Tyler contacted us (a referral from past clients) for their Cleveland wedding, they mentioned that they lived in the Cincinnati area, but their wedding would be in Cleveland. At the time we were still living in the Cleveland area, but by the time their wedding arrived, we were located in the Cincinnati area just like them! Its funny how we have had several clients that are here in Cincy, but getting married in the Cleveland area for various reasons.  Being we still travel up to Cleveland for weddings, this just means that sometimes we photograph their engagement session in Cincinnati! The best of both worlds as they say!

On their wedding day I began with Caitlin’s preparations at her family home.  I loved that her pup was able to join in all the fun! Meanwhile John was with Tyler at the downtown Hilton.  Which is always a very cool place for wedding prep!  Then the wedding ceremony was at St. Bernadette Church.

After church formals, we photographed at the the Cleveland Public Library.  With it’s beautiful architecture, it’s a great option to get in from the November weather!  Then we also went to our little special spot downtown.  We captured plenty of moments and portraits, but certainly wanted to make sure we were back for their cocktail hour, which was in the Cleveland Aquarium!  It has to be one of the best locations in Cleveland for a cocktail hour! So super fascinating and fun!

Of course the reception space was just as fantastic.  With the huge windows and evening city views, Windows on the River is a perfect location for weddings.  The evening was flawless and as the night was ending, we took Caitlin and Tyler outside along the river for just a few late night pictures.  Thank you Caitlin and Tyler for working with us!
