Jordyn’s wedding day began at their wedding venue’s “bridal room”. It’s well known in the Cleveland area for it’s unique Gucci wallpaper (as I’ve mentioned before)! Truss is one of the newer venues in Cleveland and has many claims to fame, but for most couples, what stands out, is the amazing views, food and staff! Oh the views are never ending!
As for the groom, Ryan, he was at Cleveland’s beautiful Ritz Carlton for the morning, which has beautiful rooms, great for getting ready shots! Once all preparations were done for the morning Jordyn and Ryan had their “first look” at the Cleveland Cultural Gardens. I liked the little playful way Jordyn greeted Ryan and I’m sure he did too. The gardens were a perfect location for the gorgeous wedding gown Jordyn wore, as well as the style they were looking for in their pictures.
Back at Truss, the space was looking stunning! Jordyn’s mother helped with the dream and made that huge and gorgeous flower wall! Just look at all that perfectness (yes, my own word)! But behind all the planning was Kim from Noteworthy Events! Channa, also with Noteworthy, played a big role in this beautiful day as well! Check out the pictures below of Jordyn’s reaction when she first saw the flowered arch by Plantscaping and Blooms for the wedding ceremony! Priceless!
During the ceremony I thought the idea of having the Jewish chuppah brought up and held by special people, was so much more sentimental and meaningful than the typical more permanent structure! A fantastic idea for Jewish weddings! Little unique and beautiful ideas were all throughout their wedding, as well as having Ryan’s aunt, Heidi, marry them.
From the bride and groom…..”Ryan and I met at a carnival in 2008 , we had a very serious relationship for all of 3 weeks. 5 years ago he reached out to me on Instagram and asked me on a date. The rest was history.. We got engaged a year and a half ago in Sedona Arizona in the mountains. We love hiking we are having our wedding at truss because both our families are from Cleveland and we grew up in the suburbs of Cleveland. It meant the world to us for our grandparents to be apart of our special day and truss seemed to be the perfect place to show the beauty Cleveland has to offer with our loved grandparents, family and friends able to attend!”
After the beautiful ceremony, there were more family pictures during cocktail hour and then into the reception fun began! The room was decorated with a greenery installation above the dance floor. The tables all had different candles and then were surrounded by colorful flowers. The combination of candles and flowers is always a win! Their first dance was choreographed and Jordyn changed into an elegant, littler dress for it! The band The Element kept the night so upbeat that the dance floor was never empty. What an amazing day! Such a fun couple, beautiful details …the list goes on and on. Thank you Jordyn and Ryan for selecting us as your photographers!! Congratulations!
