We had such a fun engagement session with Heidi and Zach,  that we could hardly wait for their August Thorncreek Winery wedding, and the day did not disappoint!  Their morning preparations began at Springhill Suites in Solon and then they met at their wedding venue, Thorncreek Winery & Gardens for their “first look”.  The first look was in a beautiful shaded walkway.  The moment was  intimate and private and I love the sweet emotions that we captured between these two.  From there, we walked around the gorgeous gardens of Thorncreek, photographing Heid and Zach, as well as their wedding party and families.

The wedding ceremony was under a beautiful spray of flowers that adorned a trellis above the couple.  All the guest were seated in the open area of the gardens and had a beautiful view of the couple as they exchanged their vows.  After the ceremony, the couple greeted their guest and we photographed the family groups and few more pictures of the couple.  Once the cocktail hour and reception began, the place really came alive with excitement and laughter.  I loved how the weddings at Thorncreek have use of the gardens as well as the space for their reception.  So many of the guest enjoyed being in the gardens and having pictures done there.

I can’t say enough of how much I loved this venue!  Not only were the staff and Marissa (the planner there), so accommodating, but the space & gardens are just so beautiful, intimate and inviting.  Of  course having such a fabulous couple like Zach and Heidi to photograph there made it even more special!  Congratulation’s Heidi and Zach and thank you for sharing your day with us!!
