Alyssa & TJ’s TENK wedding was a labor of love for this outgoing couple.  With months of planning every single detail (all the way from Chicago most the time) and then having to postpone it due to the pandemic,  you can only imagine how ready they and all their family and guest were to have this day finally arrive! At the start of the day you could literally feel the anticipation to what was going to be an amazing day!

Both Alyssa and TJ had their wedding day preparations at the cool & contemporary Hilton on Lakeside, here in Cleveland.  The opted to have a “first look” in order to spend more of the day together and to have fun taking pictures around the city with their wedding party. We first went to the Cleveland Cultural Gardens, where a little rain did not detour us!  Then off to the Cleveland Museum of Art.  Always such a pretty location for wedding pictures.  Alyssa had requested “less posed” wedding party shots.  She likes the more casual grouping and gathering shots which was just fine with us.  We always love all the laughs and craziness when friends all gather closely!

Then the ceremony was held at Immaculate Conception. I really liked the flower cones along the aisle and then Alyssa and TJ’s big exit down the church steps! It was really a beautiful ceremony.  Next it was time for a bit of urban photography.  We like being able to get a variety of looks on a wedding day! We hit-up East 4th street and then Cleveland Public Square before we headed to TENK for the wedding reception.

As you can see from the images…the entrance to TENK was phenomenal! All the greenery and candles gave you a hint of the beauty that was coming your way! After the entrance there was a  small lobby with a custom setting chart, designed by Alyssa and TJ.  Then you walked into another room with flowers and greenery draping from the ceiling, while underneath, were cocktail hour appetizers and a fun bar!  This was such a great start to the evening, but was only the icing on the cake….because when everyone was let into the “ballroom” it was hard to even take it all in.  First and foremost was the amazing floral décor hanging above the dance floor! Plantscaping and Blooms really brought this idea to life! So many details made this evening special.  But I have to say one of the cutest thing of the night, was the surprise choreographed dance by Alyssa’s parents, Clifford & Nancy!  When I saw Nancy through off her shoes…..it was hard to not stop photographing and start cheering with everyone else!!  What a great day and we are so appreciative of all the vendors that put so much work into bringing this TENK wedding to fruition for Alyssa and TJ!
