We loved being part of Taylor and Ben’s wedding day.  We met Taylor first when she was a bridesmaid in a previous wedding. We were thrilled to hear from them when they were planning their wedding!  Taylor and Ben’s wedding preparations began with the girls staying a very cute Airbnb just across from Holy Cross. It was the perfect location for wedding preparations!  If you are getting married at Holy Cross you should consider checking it out!

The ceremony went smoothly and the candid’s from Taylor and Ben’s first married moments with their rings made for great moments captured. At the end of the ceremony everyone walked out the beautiful city/river view that Holy Cross provides!  Then of course it was back into the church for family/wedding party portraits.  Just as we were making our way out of the church to begin portraits with that beautiful view, the sky opened up and it began to pour.  I still was able to grab a view pictures of their big smiles in the doorway and then it was back into the church.  Fortunately their wedding planners, Dana Renae Designs were totally prepared with a number of white umbrellas that made Ben and Taylor’s walk to the trolly not only dry, but as cute and fun!

Knowing Cincinnati’s weather, I suggested we try and see if Ault Park might have clear weather and sure enough it was perfectly clear when we arrived!  Ault park for wedding pictures is always a nice option.  It has so many flowers and garden areas to get different looks.  Ben and Taylor even had their parents come along with the wedding party to capture a few more family groups in such a beautiful setting.  I think this is such a great idea!

The cocktail hour and reception was held at the super cool Summit Hotel!  I love the big patio option they have for weddings as well as the contemporary aesthetics.   Once the dancing began, the floor was so packed full of guest! So full that John and I could barely maneuver in the crowd to get pictures! Pretty wonderful to see for sure. There was so much happiness and everyone wanted to be part of it!  Then when the late night snack was put out, it was quickly another popular treat for the guest!  What a great day for two very in love people and we were thrilled to be part of it!  Congratulations Ben and Taylor!
