Sandusky Wedding | Bronson Conservation Club Wedding

When we first met Aryn and Tim, we instantly felt such a connection to them.  Tim and John (my husband), had so many things in common and when you hear their story, you can’t help but fall in love with them.  An outsider might think they are an odd match.  Tim is a farmer and Aryn is in the corporate world.  But they are the most adorable and perfect pair in every way!

The day started out as any typical February day, but as the day progressed it started snowing lightly.  I was so happy to see the snow (knowing Aryn & Tim were hoping for it as well) but it started coming down harder after the wedding ceremony and what we initially envisioned as a beautiful lake background, became a mysterious foggy background!  But, I’m getting ahead of myself!  The day first began with Aryn’s preparations at one of her bridesmaid’s beautiful historic home in Sandusky.   While Tim was getting ready for the day at their beautiful farm.   They can together for their wedding ceremony at St. Stephen Church .  This day was selected because it was her parent’s wedding anniversary, as well as Tim’s grandparent’s!  Isn’t that amazing?!  Her parents were actually married in this church as well!  So needless to day, this was a special date for everyone.

Following the wedding ceremony at St. Stephen, we had selected a few spots for the bridal portraits.  First was the lakeside park, which I mentioned above.  It was snowing like crazy, but absolutely beautiful!  Everyone was so wonderful working around the snow and cold!  Next we went into to downtown Sandusky.  It had been a few years since we photographed there, but it was even nicer than we remembered.  Lots of fun locations….but we needed to get out to the country as well!  So off we went to see Tim and Aryn’s super cool house and farm!  We began with pictures in their home and then out around their  fun red barns!  Even one of their sweet pups joined in on all the fun!  From there we were lucky enough to go to Tim’s father’s farm and he had their amazing John Deere tractor shinning for these pictures!  Even if you don’t know much about farming….you have to appreciate that amazing modern tractor!  Thank you to Tim’s father for making it look so good for it’s photo session!

Their reception was at Bronson Conservation Club in Norwalk.  This was a fun, rustic venue with a pond and evergreens around it. Aryn’s sister helped with the decor of the reception at Bronson and it was beautiful!  Lot’s of greenery and bling at the same time!  Be sure to check it out below! One of the funnest garter toss happened that night…to make a long story short, just look at the guy getting the garter put on his leg (and spun around), by the pretty girl who caught the bouquet! I was laughing so hard I could hardly photograph it.  It was such a fun day and a big thanks to Elizabeth who second shot with me! But more importantly, thanks to Tim and Aryn for having us as part of your wedding!  We feel truly lucky to have met you two and happy to call you friends!  Congratulations!
