Zach & Diane met in 2018 in San Diego. Over the last years they have lived from one end of the country to the other.  Zach is a Navy Pilot, which has brought the two of them the opportunity to travel and see the country.  Even so, they selected Diane’s home for the wedding! So on the coast of San Diego, they were wed at Tom’s Lighthouse with views of Navy ships and the beautiful skyline and sunset.

The day’s preparations were at the Hilton San Diego Airport which was just down from their venue.  There was an excitement in the air knowing there was a large tropical storm headed right for city, but yet it was warm and sunny!  After both Diane and Zach’s wedding day prep, everyone made their way to ceremony location. They exchanged vows next to the water and colorful flowers.

Their wedding portraits were done during cocktail hour right on the grounds of the venue.  With the city skyline and the water, there was no need to go anywhere else!

The reception started with a bang when Diane and Zach enter the room and did a choregraphed dance designed by Zach!  Everyone was off the chairs and singing along as they had everyone laughing at the same time!  After the dinner there was a beautiful sunset and we grabbed them for a few quick shots. Tough decision on which direction to photograph! One view was the sunset while the other was the San Diego skyline.  At the end of the evening were bubbles and a white trolley to take them and the wedding party back to the hotel.  A fun way to end the formal event and head into the after party!  Congratulations Zach and Diane and thank you for bringing us to California to capture your day!
