“Third time’s the charm”, was the quote for the day with this  New Year’s Eve fun and beautiful Rock & Roll Hall of Fame wedding! Planning for Clara and Jim’s wedding began several years ago.  Their first wedding date was NYE of 2020. But due to Covid, the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame wedding was postponed and they had a gorgeous, intimate wedding with just their family at Walden Inn.  Which can be seen here..  NYE2020.   Within a few weeks of that wedding, they found that a couple dollars was still owed for the some of the legal documents for the officiant (family) so they really weren’t legally married! Can you imagine it? No pun intended, lol.  So they did something that matched their fun personalities and headed off to Las Vegas for a quick Elvis wedding! With all the crazy around the wedding, they were still really looking forward to sharing it in a big celebration with all their friends.  So the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame Wedding became a reception, and was  rescheduled for 2021!

What better way to start a Rock & Roll wedding then to have your wedding day preparations in the Rock & Roll suite at the Hilton Lakeside!!  Such fun rooms and I just loved photographing Clara in them! Once all the wedding day prep was done, we got a few pictures inside and out. Clara and Jim then met-up for pictures down at Voinovich Park.  Being New Years Eve, it was a bit cold, but  Clara had scouted out vintage mink stoles for all her bridesmaids!  They were perfect with all the girl’s unique dresses!  The beautiful skyline of Cleveland and the Rock Hall in the background of the pictures was just what we were hoping for.  Always love that time of the day for photographing!  As it did get darker, we headed to the Cleveland Playhouse Chandler. With the Christmas lights still up and the amazing chandelier lit-up for the night, we rushed around capturing all the laughs and posed pictures we could until it was time to head to the reception.

We made sure we were able to get to the Rock Hall in time to photograph not only the reception details but to also photograph in the coveted Rock & Roll Hall of Fame museum halls.  We had a lot of fun running around trying to find Jim’s favorite artist and  then utilizing cool lighting to capture it all.  Once portrait time was over we did a family groups with the Rock Hall all in the background and then captured the beautiful details.   What a fun and creative place to photograph and is there a better place to be on New Year’s Eve?!  Congratulations Clara and Jim on both your weddings and this wonderful celebration!

Clara found her wedding vows in the pocket of her dress….in great shape even after being dry cleaned twice!
