From high school sweethearts to world traveling partners, Joe and Olivia have spent the last nine years making countless memories. “It’s been one wild ride, but there’s one thing we know for certain, life together has been, and always will be our favorite adventure.” And so the theme of their wedding was “travel”! From the reception being held at the MAPS Air Museum in Akron, to all the cute details…everything said adventure!
Though it rained the entire day, Olivia couldn’t possibly look more full of sunshine and warmth on her wedding day. I was so in love with her sweet/beautiful wedding gown. She looked as if she should be photographed in a field of flowers. She was just stunning and her and Joe made the perfect pair!
The wedding ceremony was held at the new wedding venue, The Old Stone Chapel in Akron. It was an old abandoned church, so it had all the vintage details, yet was a little less formal with the rules and restrictions. It was such a pleasure to photograph in! After the ceremony Joe and Olivia even got to ring the bell in the old tower!
With the rain, we photographed a bit in the Old Stone Chapel and then headed to the MAPS Air Museum for the wedding reception. I would love to have photographed this beautiful wedding all afternoon in MAPS, but time was short and we made the most of this awesome space! The reception began shortly after we arrived and it really kicked off with a bang! From a wonderful dinner, to great toast and then a very special bride and mother dance! I believe this was the first time I have had the pleasure of capturing a mother, bride dance and it was fantastic! Great job girls!
Thank you Joe and Olivia for a beautiful day and the pleasure of capturing it with you all! Congratulations!

Ringing the bell announcing the marriage! Since The Old Stone Chapel is not really a church, but a venue now…we felt it was ok to have a little fun with the wedding party on the old altar.
