Jessica and Eric’s wedding was at the well known Music Box Supper Club, situated along the Cuyahoga River in downtown Cleveland. But the day actually started at their homes, and then to the family church, Strongsville United Methodist. But, before all the wedding day details, lets hear from the beautiful bride!
“We met when we were juniors at Strongsville High School and remained friends all throughout high school and college. We reconnected a few years after college and planned a trip down to our favorite place, Ohio University. That is where we decided that there might be something more to our relationship and started dating. We were long distance (Jessica in Columbus and Eric in Cleveland) for two and half years when I moved back home. Roughly 3 years after we first started dating, I threw Eric and 30th birthday party at the Map Room in downtown Cleveland. Eric surprised me in front of all of our friends and family with asking me to marry him. We immediately started planning the wedding and fell in love with the Music Box Supper Club, because of the amazing stage. we both have a shared love of live music and knew it would be perfect setting for us to celebrate our love.”
After the wedding ceremony, we ventured out to Edgewater Park, planning to capture some awesome views of Lake Erie! But once we arrived we realized the wind was way too crazy for a lot of pictures, but decided we at least had to get a few of this adventurous couple by the lake! So Jessica braved the wind and boulders and we were able to capture a few wild, wind shots, with this beautiful couple! From there, thinking the wind might be less at Music Box, we headed to the venue! It was a bit better and we were able to photograph simple around Music Box venue! The always popular, Jack Knife Bridge, proved to be a great location from the wind and direct sun and it always gives us fun pictures!
Upon entering Music Box, we were amazed at how beautiful this music venue looked. From all the little vases of colorful flowers down the tables, to the long strings of natural green garland, it was transformed to an elegant wedding event. But don’t get me wrong, once their awesome band, Tricky Dick and The Cover-ups took the stage, the place came alive with dancing and laughing that never stopped! Wow, this band has been one of our favorites for a long time and they still are. But what was so great, is that Jessica and Eric are really into music and they had so much fun dancing and we had so much fun capturing it! What a great reception, families and overall wedding! Congratulations Jessica and Eric!
