Jesse & Courtney’s wedding ceremony was held at the super cool Hotel Covington.  They have a beautiful courtyard for weddings.   Before the ceremony, Jesse’s preparations were at their home, while Courtney was in one of the hotel’s suites. I really liked the suite and the dark wall for the wedding dress shot.  Speaking of dress shot, thank you to Courtney’s sister (MOH) for lending me the gold strap to her handbag to secure the dress & hanger on the canopy! From Courtney & Jesse…..”Jesse started out the relationship by catfishing Courtney into thinking he loved Frisch’s by posting a photo with the Big Boy in his dating profile.  She later found out he absolutely hates Frisch’s and especially the tartar sauce.  Courtney showed up late to their first date because a semi flipped on the highway. Jesse still does not believe this happened. When Jesse eventually tried to propose, Courtney ran off to get their names on the waiting list at a popular tiki bar. She was successful, and soon returned for the proposal. But in all seriousness, they’ve been through many challenges together including COVID, exhausting work schedules, and health scares, but have remained steadfast in their commitment to each other and their pets Paprika and Whiskey.”

I remember Hotel Covington from a few lunch dates and was excited to be photographing a wedding there.  And what a wedding it was! So much emotion and tons of laughs.  I always love these type of natural ceremonies! After the adorable ceremony we headed next for a drink at  The Knowledge Bar ! From there we walked around Covington and hit up their favorite church for a few shots and then over the Second Story bar .   Their beautiful 2nd story patio had great views of their favorite church! I loved how their umbrellas matched the steeples! So appreciate of both of these fantastic bars allowing us to photograph in their awesome spaces!

The reception that followed was part of Hotel Covington called The Madison Event Center.  Thank you to The Marmalade Lily that provided extra blooms for Courtney’s details and the other vendors that helped pull off such a wonderful day for Jesse and Courtney!  Congratulations Jesse & Courtney you were so wonderful to work with and get to know!
