Mary and Eric are that couple that everyone aspires to be like. They way they look at each other and the happiness they share when together is so beautiful. John and I loved sharing in their excitement on their wedding day and being a witness to a wonderful match being made.

Mary’s preparations started at Charles Scott Salon in Rocky River and then at her parent’s home, along with her sweet sisters and sister-in-law.  They all made the morning so special for her.   Having all her family there was so exciting and festive!  Meanwhile, Eric was close to the church at his brother’s house.  Pretty nice when the groomsmen can simply walk to the church!

Speaking of churches…this old cathedral was remarkable.  So many beautiful details and so special for a wedding! St James Catholic Church is not only gorgeous inside, but the outside is unique and beautiful as well.  Mary wanted to be sure to capture the gorgeous doors in some of the pictures and I was thrilled about that!

After the ceremony we photographed along the side of the church, knowing it was so windy that the park where we wanted to go might be a challenge.  But of course we headed to the lake right after pictures at the church! It’s always such pretty option! The first location near the stone archway was perfect…it blocked some of the wind and was so pretty.  Then we opted for the original plan, Lakewood Park…..and from the images below you can see that was hilarious!  From there we headed to the wedding reception at Georgetown’s Vosh.

I love photographing at Gorgetown/Vosh.  It has the prettiest patio that is perfect for cocktail hour and outdoor relaxing later in the evening. You don’t find that option in the city very often.  The cocktail hour and reception went off without issue and we were even able to steal Mary and Eric away for a few night time shots!  Thank you Mary and Eric for the privilege of being a part of your beautiful day!  Congratulations guys!!!
