Danielle and Gabe’s wedding day started with Danielle getting ready at her parent’s home. Danielle thought of every detail and was sure to show everyone around her, just how thankful she was for them. Everyone was given personalized gifts. I love the moments that each of her parents and her sister, had with her beforehand. It’s always a bit sentimental when a bride and her bridesmaids get ready at the bride’s childhood home.
Gabe, on the other hand, got ready at their reception venue, La Centre. They have great spaces for just this kind of thing! And the gifts were flowing over at the guys as well! We thought it was so cute how Danielle gave Gabe a box full of dog toys, with clear instructions that she had not bought a dog YET, that they were to pick it out together after the wedding. Of course, when he saw those toys he immediately thought he had a new dog…until he was set straight of course. But this is how the whole morning was, one happy moment to the next!
Their wedding was held at the gorgeous St. Michael Archangel church in Cleveland. This old cathedral was just stunning and perfect for their wedding vows. After all the wedding traditions and a kiss for luck… they were on their we way down the aisle and out the grand doors for kisses and bubbles. Gosh, I just love bubbles and grand cathedrals! Anyway….
For their formal portraits, we went to a beautiful private home on Lake Erie. One of my favorite things there was the beautiful sun room that apparently was fashioned after one in Paris. How could I not love it, right?! Then there were the views of Cleveland…just wish we could have stayed even longer, such an interesting and fun place.
The reception started with a cocktail hour, beautiful and tasty appetizers and an ice sculpture that was a luge for the couples signature drink… as well as entertainment for the guest. Once the doors to the ballroom were open, the guest were greeted with flowers and candles, all set against beautiful varieties of pink up lighting! La Centre‘s ballroom is always stunning when decorated for weddings and of course their vendors did a great job! So much fun dancing and pictures with all their friends and families! What a great night! Congratulations Gabe and Danielle!
