Anthony & Kristen’s wedding was held at Ariel International Center in Cleveland. The day began with Kristen getting ready in their home while Anthony’s preparations were at a friend’s apartment in Battery Park.  They chose the Cultural Gardens for their first look.  The gardens are always a beautiful place for wedding pictures and this day was no different. The lush green ivy was such a nice backdrop for their first look! From the Hungarian Garden we went to our favorite CMA location for a few portraits. I love the white marble look of this area and it gives us a more private location for pictures verses the main museum area.  We are always looking for out-of-the-way locations that bring pretty backgrounds & fun options! Kristen & Anthony had no formal wedding party, not wanting to pick between their friends.  Their families came along for pictures at the gardens.  This is such a nice option for having less formal family pictures!

With the wedding ceremony still ahead we made our way to Ariel International.  The ceremony was on the roof top of Ariel.  The billowy clouds overhead were welcomed and provided everyone with a nice overcast day for the ceremony!  The ceremony was performed by their brother-in-law. This is always a comforting feeling…having someone they know give the beautiful words of the day. The ceremony was followed by a roof top cocktail hour and then the reception was held on the floor below. Kristen and Anthony opted for miniature Bundt cakes instead of the traditional wedding cake.  These little cakes were such a treat with several flavors to choose from for their guest!

At the end of the evening Kristen & Anthony shared their slow first dance privately.  John & I and our friends from For Real Wedding Films, Kurt & Beth, captured these last moments, from the private first slow dance, to the sparkler exit that greeted them as they exited Ariel! Congratulations to Anthony and Kristen that were so much fun to photograph!  Thanks for having us as part of your day!!
