The Cleveland Marriott Downtown at Key Center is always a beautiful location for a wedding, especially this couple! Tracy and Drew met seven years ago at The Ohio State University. They are big fans and it showed in some of the details of the wedding. Be sure to check out Drew’s Buckeye boutonniere! Tracy and Drew’s wedding and reception were both held here, which always makes the day seamless for the guest! With preparations right in the hotel, they did an emotional ‘first look’ with Cleveland’s Fountain of Eternal Life in the background. For their formal portraits, they braved the strong winds and ventured into Cleveland for different backgrounds. A bit of traffic and cold winds did not detour this fun and crazy wedding party! They were happy to share in the day with their great friends and family!
After the traditional Ketubah signing, the wedding was held among long beautiful stems of Cherry Blossoms, that were flown in from Oregon!
Branch and Bloom Florist lived up to their name with those stunning Cherry Blossom steams! The Huppah or Chuppah, was actually built by Drew. He insisted on building it, which I found wonderfully symbolic, as the Huppah is said to represent the home the couple will build. Following the ceremony the cocktail hour and reception began. With hilarious toast to the couple, the always fun Hora (chair dance) and the great music played by the always awesome Mike Alexander -DJ from
The Cleveland Music Group, the party was non-stop! So much fun with this OSU gang!
Thanks to all their wonderful vendors, great work!
