“They say in New York City that your location determines the longevity of your relationships; thank goodness we only lived a few blocks away from each other when we matched on Hinge! Our first date was coffee in a local park, and we proceeded to speed through a dozen dates in a span of 3 weeks before making it official. Andrew proposed in that same park after dating for 2.5 years, and we’re so excited to be married!” I love our couples stories and that I get to share them!
Sarah and Andrew began their wedding day at the historic Hyatt Arcade. Known as one of the most beautiful locations in Cleveland. As I was photographing Sarah’s preparations, John was having his own fun with Andrew and his guitar! John is an avid guitarist and loved that Andrew was even more so! I really like the moments he captured with Andrew and his groomsmen & grooms lady. Once Sarah, myself and the team from For Real Wedding Films made it out into the Arcade for the first look, a huge book fair had begun in the Arcade, making formal pictures a bit of challenge with so many people explore the beautiful space and rain outside! Thank goodness for great photographic timing and just a little photoshop magic! I’ve always been particular with the final images and taking out ugly distractions is a must! Speaking of the first look…..oh my goodness was theirs so sweet!
The Jewish ceremony began with the Ketubah signing and then the ceremony. Jewish wedding ceremonies are full of meaning and so wonderful to capture! Following the ceremony, Sarah and Andrew exchanged private wedding vows. Another set of beautiful moments between these two!
Their wedding reception was also at one of the most beautiful locations in Cleveland, the Cleveland Botanical Garden! Not only at the garden, but outdoors on the stunning patio around the gazing pool. What a perfect wedding reception location! The vibrant floral colors were everywhere, filling the space with so much softness and elegance. I think the background for the toast was the most beautiful background we have seen. Truly so special and decorated wonderfully with gorgeous flowers! Towards the end of the reception, you will notice Sarah slipped into a cute little number and was able to really enjoy the music and dancing with Andrew! I think a little dress change not only changes the look, but the bride’s personality changes with it! We have seen this so many times…the bride gets to really relax and celebrate in something that is a bit more comfortable!
Congratulations Sarah and Andrew!
