American Sign Museum Wedding |Joe & Maureen

Maureen and Joe were married on a beautiful winter afternoon just 3 days after Christmas.  We knew Maureen from our wedding vendor community and always loved her personality and style! She is part of the awesome Eatwell Celebrations & Feast team. One of the top caterers in the Cincinnati area! So naturally we were excited and honored to be part or her day.

Maureen and the girls stayed at local Airbnb for the wedding preparations.  Speaking of girls, her bridesmaids were all daughters & sons of her family!  Isn’t that sweet!

Joe & his groomsmen (all sons) were at the AC Hotel for their start to the day. It was great that John was able to capture some images with Cincy’s iconic Roebling Bridge in the background! This is also the location that Mo & Joe had their first look.  From there we were lucky enough to have a fairly warm day and opted for Ault Park for their wedding pictures. First we photographed the wedding party and a few parents then bride & groom.  From there we were off, just around the corner, for pictures at home!

The ceremony & reception was held at the American Sign Museum. This was such a cool location for a wedding celebration.  From all the unique vintage signs to walk through, to the fun colors that were cast through out the event.  This fun location kept the energy high all night! If you are familiar with the museum be sure to look at the new space the museum recently opened for events. The location is just next to the reception space and nicely turns into the dance floor for any event.  A unique detail about the space is one of the large signs that hangs into it, actually had Maureen’s maiden name on it. It was fun to capture that in some of the pictures.

After the ceremony the cocktail hour was held right in museum’s open air displays. A variety of delicious, custom appetizers were served to the guest as they mingled among the signs.  Once the reception was to begin, the curtains were opened and guest walked it a beautiful, candle-lit room.  Each table was filled with greenery and had small charcuterie boards for the guest to share. When it came to desserts, wedding cake was only the start.  On a large table, delicate desserts of every flavor and design were displayed.  Most were too beautiful & unique to eat, but of course everyone managed to indulge!  Later in the night a bicycle cart came riding through the reception with miniature Chicago hotdogs.  Guest loved the personal delivery of this late night snack! Eatwell & Maureen really knocked it out of the park with the gorgeous and delicious food!  The whole wedding was fun and a bit adventurous, but our favorite part was finally getting to meet Joe, and seeing what a great guy he is and how Mo & Joe are so good together.  Congratulations Maureen & Joe!
