Kristen and Tyler’s wedding ceremony was at their home town church. A place that had meaning to Kristen which made it the perfect spot. Not only was the ceremony in a special place but also their wedding celebration or better know as their wedding reception, which was at Tyler’s family farm. I remember when we first heard from Kristen, they were contemplating having the reception at a very elegant location in the city, so when they changed their minds, Kristen was determined to make the family farm as special and beautiful as she could. Knowing this would be a little work she talked her friend, Clare Hall (who had experience in wedding planning) to help her out. And what a great job the two of them did! The details were so unique. From the miniature donkeys delivering drinks to the guest, the greenery and florals framing the entrance to the barn, vintage plates at every seat, decorative lights hanging from the ceiling to all the beautiful antiques throughout the barn, nothing was overlooked.
On a personal note, we loved that Tyler had his childhood, toy John Deere tractor at the wedding, as well as the huge/gigantic real tractor. They arrived for their grand entrance in the tractor….I have to say, that was a first for us and we totally loved it! The evening was filled with music, dancing, lots of desserts in such a fun atmosphere!
