Ault Park Wedding | Ari & Sean

Sean and Arielle were born one day apart at the same hospital. They met at a bar in Budapest, which is where they are going for their honeymoon. How romantic!

They had their beautiful wedding at Ault Park, part of the Premier Park Events. They began the wedding day preparations with Sean at their downtown apartment and Ari at the gorgeous Lytle Hotel. Both locations were so nice for the start of the day! With Ari’s preparations at Lytle Hotel, they decided to have their “first look” on the fabulous rooftop patio! It was not only beautiful, with great views, but also private. I really loved Sean’s reaction at first seeing Ari and then how they talked and had so much to share, before starting the wedding events. While up there, we photographed around the majestic fireplaces and then down in the lobby before heading out to Ault Park.

Arriving at Ault Park, we were instantly impressed seeing the reception space all set up with soft blue candles, bright flowers, and a pretty chuppah all ready for their ceremony! But first, we all made our way down to the gardens for a few pictures. We have our “favorite spots” but we are always looking for new options, and that’s one of the things that is so nice about the park—it’s always changing and never disappoints!

Once it became time for the formal events, we all gathered for the Jewish time-honored tradition of signing the ketubah, which is the legal document of marriage that outlines the bride and groom’s obligations. Ari & Sean had the most gorgeous ketubah that I have seen. It was a piece of art that was so personal to them both. It showed the two of them having a picnic (with their signature style) and Budapest (where they met) in the background, along with the Cincinnati Roebling Suspension Bridge. There were other meaningful points in it as well! Another moment of this tradition is having the parents and family give personal well wishes to each of them. After the Ketubah signing, the wedding ceremony was held. With more of the Jewish wedding traditions and special blessings, the ceremony was full of fun, cute, and serious moments. A very special ceremony.

The reception was held under the pavilion above the waterfall fountain.  The golden sunset was a great backdrop for their first dance and then the dancing was officially kicked off with the always fun Hora! The band “Best Kept Secret” kept the dance floor jumping all night, they were really a great sounding band!  Later in the evening guest were treated to the Graters Ice Cream truck and Taste of Belgium Waffles!  What a fantastic combination and treat!!  Oh and then there were the fireworks casually going off in the distance!  What a great day, beautiful people and so many special moments! Congratulations Ari & Sean!  Happy honeymooning!
