Damon and Allison’s wedding was at a beautiful newer wedding venue called Hope’s Way Gathering Venue. The venue is nestled among lush trees with birds singing and a beautiful little pond. All this was perfect for Damon & Allie’s sweet personalities. This was one of those weddings that I just love, because Allie is a sister to one of our past brides (Lauren) that we have had the pleasure of seeing at many of our weddings! It’s wonderful seeing their families again!
Allie started her and the girl’s preparations upstairs in the large loft, while Damon and groomsmen were at the AC Hotel. As you can see, John got a few shots on the roof of the hotel with the infamous Roebling Bridge in the background. After everyone was ready Allie and Damon had their “first look” on the pond. It was bright and sunny and made for a beautiful setting! I really liked how they said private personal vows to each other. After sharing their messages and a few pictures, the wedding party hopped on the golf cart and headed to the “shady cove” (thanks Hope’s Way for the rides)! It was fun photographing among the trees, but we couldn’t wait to get back to the pond and it’s beautiful surroundings!
The ceremony was held outside and the ceremony was performed by Allie’s uncle! The couple walked back down the aisle trough bubbles and plenty of sunshine! How about the center aisle dip!!
The reception celebration was both indoors and out, which is so wonderful for guest! Their guest certainly took advantage of this great option, with half of the guest playing corn hole, taking pictures and just enjoying the evening. The sparkler send-off was so much fun with the “barn” in the background and all the guest getting into the task at hand!
Being part of this wedding was special for us and we really enjoyed working at Hope’s Way as well! Thank you to Blush and Bowtie for helping to keep everything flowing nicely and to the staff at Hope’s Way that was a pleasure to work with! But especially thank you to Damon and Allie for having us share in such a special day!
