Justin and Stephanie began their marriage journey at the top of Terminal Tower, where Justin and arranged a once-in-a-lifetime scenario. He actually proposed out on the top balcony, with the tower lit up and a drone capturing all of it!! See video  here! PROPOSAL VIDEO  After meeting Justin and Stephanie, this thoughtful and cool proposal made total sense.  These two are creative, kind, world travelers and above all else, humanitarians.  So, when they planned their wedding it would just have to be a special place!  Sure enough, it was at the new Truss Event Venue!  Not only a gorgeous venue for them, but also the first wedding to be held at Truss!

Stephanie & Justin both began the day with preparations right at Truss.  Stephanie was in what they called the Green Room (all adorned in Gucci…even the wallpaper) while Justin and the guys were on the first floor.  John took full advantage of being able to walk right out to the sidewalk from their preparation space! Check out all the street and building shots with all the groomsmen. The “getting ready” shots of both Stephanie and Justin were really special, as they had large wedding parties and everyone wanted to help!  They were surrounded all day by so many people that loved them. They chose not to do a “first look”, so we wanted to be sure to get as many pictures as we could beforehand, knowing we would only have cocktail hour for all the formals.  Once they were both finished and ready for the wedding, John took the guys out for pictures, while I took the ladies.  Though it was very windy, sunny and a bit cold, I could not miss photographing on Truss’s rooftop patio!  Meanwhile, John was downstairs photographing the guys and waiting on his turn to photograph on rooftop as well!

Though the wedding ceremony was originally planned for outside, it had to be moved indoors due to the weather.  But the indoor space was beautiful as well! With the warm wood details, the special lighting and the amazing views of Cleveland the indoor location did not disappoint!  Stephanie was escorted in by her nephew and a surprising bagpipe player! Once she was made her way down the aisle, her father greeted her and joined her hand in Justin’s.  It was such a beautiful moment.  At the end of the ceremony the bagpipe player escorted them down the aisle as man and wife!

Now lets get to the really fun part….the RECEPTION!  Wow, what a reception it was!  DJ Nick Duve , was incredible as he led the guest to a night of dancing happiness!  The dancing began with everyone around the couple for their first dance. Afterwards everyone just fell into dancing and laughing and having an amazing time!  One of the many highlights of the evening, was Justin’s brother singing to Stephanie & Justin.  The whole crowd was also singing along and there were lots laughs, happy tears, whistling and shouting. It was such a great moment and gift!

One of the many nice features of Truss, is the wall of “windows”.  It actually opens completely, to let guest enjoy the skyline views out on the patio.  Then there is the bar that is all lit up and overflows with style! Justin & Stephanie really selected a great location for their beautiful wedding and we couldn’t have been happier to be their photographers!  Congratulations Justin and Stephanie on an such an amazing day! It was really special to share in your day!
