Erin and Zach came from Chicago for their Cleveland Wedding.  We had a Skype meeting with them the first time we met.  We instantly loved their personalities and when we finally got to met them in person, for a little engagement session, we could not have been more excited to be working with them! They are so personable, friendly and kind!   They even brought their sweet lab to the engagement session!

The Marriott downtown was the location for both Erin and Zach’s wedding day preparations, as well as their first look.   I really enjoyed photographing Erin with her mother and sister.  Such sweet moments between them!  After preparations, John and I had them see each other for the first time that day, in more private area of the hotel.  Such sweet reactions and big smiles at first looks!  From there, the wedding party met us in the lobby and we headed out for pictures around Cleveland.  It was very, very windy, and we tried to keep this in mind when going to different locations.  Once the formal pictures were finished, it was time for the wedding ceremony.  The wedding was at one of favorite churches in Cleveland, St. Paul Catholic Shrine on Euclid Ave.  It is such a beautiful location for a wedding, and the church has always been very accommodating to us as photographers.

The reception was held at Windows on The River.  Allison, from Kirkbrides, had every detail styled to perfection (as always)!  The reception room was beautiful!  But, before the guest entered the reception, they were treated to cocktail hour in the amazing Cleveland Aquarium, that was actually located on the lower level of the historic venue!  This has to be the coolest location in town for a cocktail hour.  What better way to start the party?!  But, once the hour was over and the guest made their way to the reception, everyone was so ready for a fabulous night!  There were beautiful parent dances, many fun and meaningful toast, amazing food (even lobster tails) and lots of dancing till the very end of the night!  Then everyone gathered for the couple’s sparkler send off just outside! What a beautiful and fun day with this awesome couple and with the wonderful vendors that helped make it so special for them!  Congratulations Erin and Zach!  Looking forward to seeing you when you are back in town again!
