The Club at Hillbrook Wedding | Josh & Jenny

Jenny and Josh had a beautiful brunch wedding at The Club at Hillbrook.  One of the most romantic venues in the Cleveland area and always special to photograph! I loved this wedding and the people we got to know and share the day with.

From Jenny on the proposal….”We decided to do a popular hike in Sedona, Arizona that ended at a stunning lookout point. Although we found a nice rock to rest on and Josh planned ahead by bringing a cozy blanket and chocolates, the steady flow of other hikers and Pink Jeep tours didn’t allow us to have any privacy. We had just started to hike back down the mountain when Josh suggested that he set up a tripod to take a picture in a beautiful secluded area. When I turned around from observing the scenery, I found Josh on one knee!”

Now back to the wedding day…  The morning began with preparations right in the mansion.  Check out the “gift” Josh gave Jenny! From what I understood, she told him not to write too much in the card, so instead he wrote it on a notepad, snapped a picture and the had a canvas made of it! Isn’t that sooo cute?!!  I also loved the moments captured of Josh with his father in the library. Such a warm rich room for these moments.   Jenny and Josh were having a Jewish wedding, so they had their “first look” in the front of Hillbook, we took a few pictures and then it was time for the Ketubah signing.  After the signing and traditional fun moments, the outdoor wedding ceremony began.  What a grand entrance Jenny and her parents had coming down the steps of the mansion to the chuppah!  Though it was the middle of the day, with direct sun overhead, the chuppah provided soft lighting and protection from the elements.  Throughout the ceremony Jenny’s smile was from ear to ear.  This bride just beams with happiness and beauty when she smiles! Note Jenny’s flowers..they were designed to be a replica (or similar) to Josh’s mother’s wedding bouquet!

Following the wedding ceremony, the guest came up to the patio for games and refreshments.  Once the couple was ready, the doors to the reception were opened and everyone entered the light-filled room. As the band played, the guest found their seats. Being a brunch wedding, the food was unique and flavorful!  There was french toast sticks in cute little shot-type classes, pastries, crepes, bagels, Eggs Benedict, custom omelets and the list goes on and on! There was even a custom coffee bar from Cleveland Espresso. We loved this idea along of the custom cup sleeves with the couple’s names on them!  There was lots of dancing to the A Band’s music and then, following the reception, we took the couple and wedding party back outside to take advantage of the nice late afternoon lighting!

This brunch wedding was perfect.  We really enjoyed the day and thought everything was so nicely done!  Congratulations to Jenny & Josh!
