Shoreby Club Intimate Wedding | Matt & Morgan

Morgan had always dreamed of getting married at Cleveland beautiful Shoreby Club.   When their wedding plans in Utah were postponed due to Covid, she found the perfect place to still marry the love of her life, back home at here favorite boating club, the Shoreby Club.

Though the wedding was small and intimate, the ceremony was anything but simple really.  It was performed by her brother and I have to say, who could ask for a more personal and touching person to wed you than your only brother?  The smiles and grins he had during their vows and ring exchange were priceless.   They also spread her late father’s ashes around the area they where standing, to have him close.  Matt wore Morgan’s  father’s Penny Loafers and they even brought her father’s gorgeous, old sailboat to the club for the wedding as well.  Another wonderful touch was having the ceremony streamed live to their family and friends, by Tim Frankish of Infocus Studios.  After the ceremony they had everyone virtually join them for a toast with Matt’s vintage family Kiddish cups! So many special little touches that made this wedding celebration uniquely them!   John and I loved being part of this intimate wedding and we look forward to seeing the pictures from their big Utah celebration next year!
