Cleveland Hyatt Arcade Wedding of Ty and Sara

Ty and Sara had been dating for over nine years and were finally  able to share their love and wedding with all their friends and family just before New Year’s Eve, actually New Years Eve eve! It really was a beautiful day and the two of them were adorable together! Despite Sara being in law school, the wedding looked as if it had been planned effortlessly! From the amazing Cleveland Arcade backdrop to the handmade Christmas ornaments, every detail showed their personalities and love.

The couple chose to do a “first look”.  This is always such a good idea when the wedding ceremony is late in the day. We find that these are super romantic!  It gives the couple a chance to talk and hug, and in no way diminishes the special moment of the bride coming up the aisle later.  As you can see their first look was under the stunning glass ceiling of the Cleveland Arcade and was sweet and emotional.  From that moment, we photographed around the Arcade with their wedding party and then took just the two of them to the Cleveland Library for a different look.  Sara had told me that they often went to the library together, so it wasn’t just a beautiful location for them, it also had meaning.

The ceremony was held at Messiah Lutheran Church. Despite the cold and wind outside,  they were able to have lots of bubbles right in the big open lobby of Messiah. I loved that! From the church we headed back to the cocktail hour and reception at the Hyatt Arcade. Not many locations in Cleveland can compare to the view that the Arcade provides for a wedding.  Not only is it a historic landmark for Cleveland, but its also a wonderful hotel for all the guests! Thank you Sara and Ty for such a wonderful day and for all the fun sharing in it with you and your family!  Congratulations!
